The Application Support Specialist’s role is to support the processes and applications under his/her responsibility and ensure the prompt resolution of application related incidents, effective problem management and the stable operation of the Stolt application portfolio. This includes, including planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing applications in the application portfolio. The person will also analyze and resolve end user complex application related problems (creates application designs) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide mentoring and training to other staff when required. An important role that the Application Support Analyst fulfils is that of SME (Subject Matter Expert) . Travel within the region will be required.

Work orders and special assignments can be interdepartmental, as in the direct support of the Engineering department in design, equipment specifications, and drawing creation for new and upgrade projects; interdivision is work at or for Stolt Barge Services and Stolt-Nielsen Rail Services; or at a Stolthaven lessee’s premise.
