The activities of Stolt Tank Containers are subject to the company's Security, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Management System. We believe that continual improvement and strong quality processes are vital factors in achieving SSHE&Q goals. For this reason, STC implemented and maintains an STC SSHE&Q Management System, which complies with the requirements of ISO9001:2000, ISO22000 (HACCP), ISO28000, ISO19011, OHSAS 18001, CDI-mpc and SQAS-Transport services. Furthermore developments are monitored at other organisations, such as ITCO, CEFIC, ECTA, IRU, EFTCO, IMO and USDOT, which are incorporated into our best practices where we deem applicable.

In all cases Stolt Tank Containers strives to ensure that our activities are in accordance with all local, national and international requirements and regulations. We monitor new requirements to ensure our services meet these conditions where applicable, and we strive to exceed the applicable governmental rules and regulations to ensure optimum protection of products and information, complete control of our activities and company-wide focus on continuous improvement in security, safety, health, environment, quality and food safety.

The Stolt Tank Containers global quality team meets regularly with customers to improve processes and increase efficiency. The company is internationally certified to the ISO 9001:2001 standard and its European offices are rated by SQAS, the organisation that overseas chemical logistics quality standards.
